Sounds wild, but stay with us—this one is next-level good.
Banana and matcha are an underrated duo. The natural sweetness of banana, the richness of cream, and the earthy flavour of matcha come together for a ridiculously tasty treat.
This recipe takes your usual iced matcha latte and gives it a dessert-style upgrade with a fluffy banana cream topping. Think banana milkshake vibes, but way more elevated.
It’s creamy, sweet, earthy, and just the right amount of indulgent.
Banana Cream Matcha Latte Recipe 🍌🍵🧊
Ingredients
1 tsp PerfectTed Matcha Powder
60ml hot water (60–80°C, never boiling)
150–200ml milk of choice (we love oat or almond here)
¼ ripe banana
¼ cup heavy cream
1 tbsp sweetened condensed milk
Pinch of cinnamon
Optional: banana slices & extra cinnamon for garnish
Method
Make your matcha as usual: sift the matcha powder, whisk with hot water until smooth and frothy. Set aside.
In a small bowl, mash the banana and whip it together with the cream and condensed milk until light and smooth.
Fill a glass with ice and pour in your milk. Gently layer the matcha over the milk.
Top with the banana cream and finish with a sprinkle of cinnamon and a couple of banana slices.
It’s like your matcha put on a dessert dress. Try it once—you’ll be hooked.
